‘Tis the time of year for pie. Don’t think I don’t know it. And while I’m most definitely Team Pie, this delicious dessert has officially been bumped up to Dessert President Status.
Layers of pound cake pieces, homemade pecan praline sauce, and freshly whipped cream studded with chunks of milk chocolate toffee pieces. You heard me, ladies and gentlefish. This dessert did NOT COME TO PLAY.
The wonderful thing is that this can be made ahead in either single servings or a large bowl or trifle dish. It’s gorgeous — golden drippy praline sauce, HELOOOOOO, and it tastes even better than it looks.
