This festive Cranberry Praline Slab Pie is equal parts sweet and sassy. Tart cranberries are tossed with sugar and topped with a brown sugar crumble for an easy, crowd pleasing holiday dessert.
So we totally don’t have to make a big deal about this, but I’m pretty sure I made the most gorgeous pie that has ever existed.
A slab pie, no less! SLAB. PIE.
I have to admit, this is my first slab pie. The idea of a large sheet of pie is very appealing, obviously, but the word “slab” has always kind of bothered me. Like, I don’t know. Lump it right in there with “moist” and “penal”. I just don’t like the mouth feel.
But this pie…is totally worth saying, “slab” for.
The filling is the perfect combination of tart and sweet, and the praline topping adds just the right amount of crunch.
I’m kind of obsessed with it. Okay, not really obsessed. But isn’t it SO lovely? And easy, too!
If you’re looking for a gorgeous dessert to feed a crowd, this is it! So much prettier than tan apples, don’t you agree?
