If licking the bowl is your guilty pleasure, this No-Bake Cake Batter Pie is a match made in heaven! The sweet, silky, buttery filling is studded with sprinkles and tastes just like those bites you sneak from the mixing bowl.
Hey friend, hey. Can I ask a question?
Are you a bowl licker?
That sounds totally inappropriate but I’m not sorry. Get your mind out of the gutter and listen to what I’m saying here — do you enjoy cake batter? Do you lick the beaters? And have you ever gotten salmonella?
I’d like to go on record as saying that I’ve never met a single person who got salmonella from eating cake batter or cookie dough. I am firmly convinced that it’s all a giant myth perpetuated by companies that make “cake batter” flavored treats and tubs of “egg-free” cookie dough for mass consumption. But also, I am not a doctor, so maybe we should just err on the side of caution and not eat real cake batter?
The world is hard.
Here we are with a pie that tastes like cake batter!! I started with my favorite white chocolate silk pie, made a few adjustments, and I have to say, it’s pretty fab. It’s also no-bake which is nice, particularly if you live in Arkansas like I do and the sun still feels like a million flames warming your skin.
IT’S SEPTEMBER, SUN. Chill out.
I think you’re going to love it!!
