A mojito that can be served to any and all, this Minty Mojito Mocktail has all the mint flavor you love but is alcohol free.
Can we talk about mojitos, please?
I’m kind of obsessed with them.
My friend Anna and I swear that cruise ships make the best mojitos in the universe. I don’t know what they do differently — maybe it’s the sea air or the gentle touch of a pirate, but they are absolutely on point.
Also, yes. I said “gentle touch of a pirate.” I just wanted to see if you were paying attention. Also, that could be the name of a romance novel. Anyone want to get started on that?
I recently decided to figure out a good mojito recipe to make at home. Obviously, it will never live up to the famed Cruise Ship Mojito, but it’ll do in a pinch when you’re stuck on land with knickknacks that need dusted and kids that want you to reach the fruit snacks. In that instance, I would actually recommend adding rum to this recipe (coconut rum is an especially good choice). But in the name of “sharing” with the “whole family,” I made this version alcohol free.
The green color makes this a really fun cocktail for St. Patrick’s Day and the minty lime flavor is so refreshing on a sunny day. Make a batch of simple syrup and you can whip these up in your sleep!
You need this recipe — so click over to Imperial Sugar, where I’m sharing it.
Enjoy and have a happy day!
