Need some quick and easy weeknight meals for picky eaters? I’m sharing my weekly meal plan!
Meal Planning time!
Last week’s meals went over great at my house. The only one that was new to us was the Potato, Ham and Corn Chowder and we all LOVED it. Oh my gosh, even my picky son inhaled it. There was actually enough for us to all eat it again another night, which is always nice! The only thing I did differently was to bake my bacon in the oven on 400 while the soup cooked. No need in spending the time cooking it on the stove. I just crumbled it once it was cooked and cooled and it was perfect.
This week we have two options for a Meal Plan Printable! There is the usual Meal Plan/Grocery List where you can write down your meal plan and then make your own grocery list. OR there is a grocery list with all the ingredients you need already on it — just check off the ones you need and you are good to go! No excuse not to plan your meals and shop now! I guess I could offer to come do the shopping FOR you, but I’d end up spending a zillion dollars in animal crackers and those cheap toddler toys at the checkout counter.
Here’s what is on the menu this week:
I have never tried this, but my friend Anna says it’s pretty amazing. And Plain Chicken usually has the type of recipes that my husband likes on her site.
Tuesday: Pan Fried Pork Chops
My son loves pork chops and this is a really easy way to cook them! I’ll serve with a salad and some kind of potato.
Wednesday: Enchilada Casserole
How good does this look? We’ve never tried it, but Karly always has pretty great recipes.
Thursday: Oven Baked Chicken
There is just something about cooking a plate of chicken that makes me feel homey.
Friday: Cheeseburger Sloppy Joes
The sweet girl who made these brought a batch to my house for dinner one night shortly after I had Lucy. They were SO GOOD. She brought them unbaked so I could just pop them in the oven when we wanted them. My two picky boys ate them right up and they are officially my new favorite way to eat cheeseburgers or sloppy joes. So good!
