Stitch Fix, Stitch Fix!
I hate sharing photos of myself, but people love seeing other people’s Stitch Fix boxes, so here it is. I’d prefer to just photograph the clothes folded up in a big stack, but then you don’t know how they fit, so there’s no way around it. Gobs and gobs of photos of me. I’m going to run and die.
If you’re unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it’s a service that sends you five items of clothing per month based on a style profile you fill out. This is based not only on style, but also on budget — you can choose if you want to go cheaper or pricier.
The service costs $20 a month – – that is the fee for getting styled and having the clothes shipped to you. Once the clothes arrive, you try them on. If you decide to keep any, that $20 fee is deducted from the cost. If you send any back, it’s so easy. There is a postage paid envelope included, so you don’t even have to make a trip to the post office!!
I really love Stitch Fix because shopping is NOT convenient for me. Have you ever tried trying clothes on in a dressing room with a toddler? It’s not for the prideful, friends. I promise you that. Also, I am allergic to the post office, so I love that I can stick what I don’t want in my mailbox and move on with my life!
Here’s what I got this month — a couple things I loved and a couple I’m iffy about. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
I really loved this shirt — the crochet detail on the shoulders is around the top of the back, too, and it’s longer in the back.
My only concern that it might look a little baggy/boxy? I do love the length and the pretty pattern. What do you think?
Angelique Cut-Out Tie-Dye Tank (Fun2Fun)
When I first pulled this out of the box I planned on sending it back, but when I tried it on I really liked it!! It’s a very light cotton that is super comfortable in the heat, and I love longer, loose shirts like this. I think it would be cute with white shorts or denim shorts too!
Carlita Multi Chevron Print Maxi Dress (Loveappella)
I really liked this dress. I wish I looked a bit skinnier in it, but that’s not the dress fault, but this blog’s recipes fault. So I’m torn on it! So cute and comfy though!
Keep, or send back? Help, help!
Shelli Crochet Detailed Tank (Pomelo)
I tried this shirt on when I first got it and my husband and Jon David wrinkled their noses and told me to send it back. But when I tried it on for this photo, Jon David told me to keep it. What?! I don’t know how I feel about it. I think it might look a little old for me.
Hattie Tye Dye Jersey Maxi Skirt (Promesa)
This tye dye maxi skirt is super comfortable and light, and I do love maxi skirts…but I’m unsure about it. Can you guys just come over and make all my decisions, please?
That’s it for this month! If you want to sign up to try it for yourself, you can do so through THIS LINK (it’s a referral link, so if you sign up I get a small credit towards my own purchases).
I’d love to hear what you think about this Fix and what I should send back!
