What up gnomes, it’s Friday!!
This week, I did lots of stuff.
I made food.
I ate food.
I finished watching the second season of Vampire Diaries on Netflix and cried. Why did Damon have to get bitten by a werewolf? I just can’t handle stuff like that.
I started reading Jodi Picoult’s new book, Lone Wolf. Ugh…I do not like it nearly as much as most of her books. It’s just too…wolf-ey. I find myself skimming a lot.
I woke up one morning to discover that I was out of Diet Coke. Then I turned into the Hulk and screamed and threw things and collapsed on the floor in a heap of sobbing mess.
Also, I’ve been craving frozen yogurt (tart natural…the one flavor noone else in my family will touch with a ten foot pole) with toasted coconut and Fruity Pebbles. My husband keeps saying, “well, just go get some…the yogurt place is right up the road”, but I don’t know, that’s just too easy. Sometimes I just like to want something for awhile. Does that even make sense?
I ordered THIS shirt for the Hunger Games premier. I’m twelve, what can I say?
And I spent waaaaay too much time watching hair styling tutorials on this blog. I tried THIS hairstyle yesterday and it worked!! My hair had tons of shine and bounce and I spent the day whirling my head around and feeling fancy.
Of course, I did lots of other stuff too. Wanna see?
I made Frozen Peanut Butter Butterfinger Pie. You should too. It’s pretty much the best thing ever.
Are you Irish? Do you like to pretend to be Irish? I’m sharing an Irish Cream Martini HERE.
I made Coconut Filled Fudge Cookies. You need them in your life.
This week on The Bachelor, the women told all. Did you watch? I’m recapping the madness HERE.
I made an old school pistachio dessert and talked about my embarrassing Stay at Home habits. Anything you want to share?
Do you have humans in your house who get hungry and want meals in the evening? We share a meal plan every week HERE.
Stuff that caught my eye this week:
Garlic Bread Pizza Crust from How Sweet Eats
Sunny Strawberry Sandwich Cookies from Family Fresh Cooking
Brown Butter Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls from The Novice Chef
Take 5 Candy Bar Pie from Brown Eyed Baker
Well… I guess that’s about it. Can you believe I did all that AND volunteered to take my sister’s place in the Hunger Games, where I plotted to overthrow the Capitol? Life as a tribute is exhausting.
What did YOU do this week?
Have a happy weekend and thanks for reading!!
