Stop spending a fortune on Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches and make your own! These Chunky Double Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwiches work perfectly using a pan from Cake Boss Baking.
My son is totally addicted to those cookie ice cream sandwiches you buy at the store.
The problem? They cost like, a zillion dollars and you only get four in a box.
That’s ridiculous, is what.
Why do people even DO that? What does a person do with FOUR ice cream sandwiches? That’s barely even enough for a family to eat them one time.
Also? I hate going to the grocery store. So it’s like I blink and Jon David is telling me he’s out of ice cream sandwiches, and the thought of strapping Lucy in the car, driving to the store, unstrapping Lucy from her car seat, strapping her in a cart…I’m exhausted and I’m not even in the store yet.
Four ice creams in a box should be illegal. Obviously, I have a career in politics, just saying.
When Cake Boss Baking asked me to create an ice cream treat using one of their products, I knew I wanted to use the whoopie pie pan to make these ice cream sandwiches.
The Whoopie Pie Pan keeps all the cookies the same size, so it’s easy to pair up your sandwiches — no trying to match up cookies that are the same size. They’re nice and thick too, which makes a great base for a giant hunk of ice cream.

I get to give you guys a prize!
The nice people over at Cake Boss let me pick something I wanted to give to you! My choice?
The only thing about turntables — they can be pricey, especially for something you don’t use every day. So I thought it would be a great giveaway item! The two frosting spatulas are just like the ones I use at home — they work perfectly for frosting a nice, smooth cake!
To enter to win, just leave a comment telling me what you would do with the items if you won — keep them, or gift them to someone special?
At this time I can only take U.S. entries (sorry) and will be taking entries until Saturday, August 2nd at 11:59 pm. I will contact the winner Monday August 4th via email.
