These breakfast banana splits are a fun and healthy toddler breakfast.

Breakfast Banana Split -- make a healthy, toddler friendly breakfast using yogurt and fruit! My two year old Lucy has started having opinions on things.

Strong opinions. Who knew such a tiny thing could be so strong? And loud. Yikes.

One thing she DEFINITELY has a lot of opinions about is food. One opinion is that she LOVES dessert — especially sprinkles! Another opinion is that she hates anything she’s SUPPOSED to eat, like yummy healthy stuff that I want her to eat for breakfast.

It’s annoying. It really is. How do you bargain with a child who can’t even talk in sentences yet? You don’t, that’s what.

Want to know what you do instead? You trick her.

Lucy and I recently got to try Yulu Yogurt — a new, Aussie style yogurt that is honestly the best yogurt I’ve ever eaten. I mean…I’ve always liked yogurt okay enough, but I was DYING over this stuff. It tastes like magic. Unlike Greek yogurt, which was an acquired taste for me, Yulu yogurt has the thick, creamy quality without the sour taste. I never could get Lucy to take to Greek yogurt, so this is absolutely PERFECT.

Yulu Australian style yogurt is smoothed twice, which makes it super creamy. We tried the Vanilla Bean flavor — it was so silky and had little flecks of vanilla bean through it. It was almost like eating dessert, but not nearly as heavy and sweet.

Yogurt Banana Split Image This thick, creamy, Vanilla Bean Yulu Yogurt is the perfect base for one of my favorite toddler breakfasts — a yogurt banana split! Just top your yogurt with sliced bananas, strawberries, or even blueberries or kiwi. Add a cherry and some rainbow sprinkles, and you’ve got a fun breakfast you can feel good about.

And your toddler thinks they are getting away with eating dessert, so it’s a win all around.

These kids think they are so smart.

Be sure to check out the Yulu Yogurt website and Facebook page for more flavors and information on where you can find it near you. It definitely has a permanent spot on my grocery list!

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Yulu. The opinions and text are all mine.
