Confessions of a Cookbook Queen was started in late January of 2010 by Kristan, a stay at home mom from Arkansas.

Confessions of a Cookbook Queen is a blog whose goal is to inspire fun and creativity in the kitchen.  Kristan is a mom in her early 30′s and recognizes a need for a blog that reaches out to women who might not feel that they fit the typical “housewife” mold. This is a place to embrace our imperfections and  feel normal in the struggles we experience as not only mothers, but women of the world. Kristan’s recipes are kept simple, and even those who may not feel up to the task can relate to the stories she shares about her daily life.

Confessions of a Cookbook Queen is a site that grew very quickly and in just a year and a half,  has a very loyal fan base made of the awesomest readers on the internet.
