My weekly meal plan is full of family friendly dinner ideas that are perfect for busy weeknights!
I swear this has been the craziest month we’ve had all year. The kiddos have about a zillion year-end activities — field trips, testing, dance recitals, orientation for junior high. The fact that the end of the school year is when everyone LEAST feels like doing all of these things makes for a bad combination. I’m ready for lazy late nights by the pool!
Anyone else feel like they might die if they pack another lunch or sign another form? I’m there. I’m so there.
Here’s what we are having for dinner this week. As always, be sure to print out a grocery list for super simple shopping.
Monday: 30 Minute Skillet Orange Chicken
I usually cut back a bit on the orange concentrate. This is a great recipe, but it’s a bit too orange-ey for us. Cutting it back about a third makes it just perfect.
Tuesday: Steak Burrito Bowls
We love steak but don’t eat it very often. This will be super simple to throw on the grill and let everyone make up their own bowls.
Wednesday: Crispy Baked Breaded Pork Chops
True story — my husband loves Shake n’ Bake. It actually still exists, believe it or not, but I prefer to make my own.
I am kind of obsessed with this pasta. It’s so summery!
Friday: Buffalo Chicken Sliders
My kiddos love buffalo chicken and I love how simple it is to make! I always make extra for leftovers.
Have a great week!
