Can you believe July is actually over? School starts back in three weeks!
Not that I’m counting or anything. Except I am….EVERY SECONNNDDDD.
We have had SO MUCH rain this Summer and OMG. Stir crazy central.
Anyways — favorites. There are some pretty great things on my list this month! Let’s discuss.
OMG this dress. It can be worn as a long or mid-length dress, and it makes a really awesome maxi skirt! I am not one for strapless dresses, but this is actually super cute. As a maxi, it’s really full and not slouchy like some maxis…the fabric is nice and thick, too. I have the black and white striped, but I need a few more colors — and right now they’re on sale!
My husband and I have been watching this on HBO Go and are currently on the beginning of the third season. Tyrion Lannister for life!
First off, Jen Hatmaker. If she is NOT in your life, she needs to be because I am so completely in love with her. There aren’t many people that I am just DYING to meet and talk to and obsess over all the livelong day, but Jen is on the list. Her heart for the poor and the broken, her views on religion and Jesus, and the way she puts words together in a way that makes you laugh AND cry just grabs my heart. My Life Group (like a Bible Study/friendship group) is currently doing the study that accompanies this book, and the discussions that it provokes are ones that as a Christian, I feel are necessary.
If you’ve ever felt distance from the church, frustration with your own faith (or lack of), or just some guidance in connecting with the “least of these”and actually LIVING the gospel versus preaching it, I highly recommend “Interrupted”.
I found this tea at my SAM’s Club and I LOVE it! I love sweet tea so much, but all the calories are not my friend. This sweet tea is zero calories, and since the bags are sweetened, it’s one step prep! Just steep the bag in boiling water for 5 minutes, then fill the rest of the pitcher with cold water. Done!
I have this blush in Diffused Heat, which is vibrant poppy pink. I love it! It’s just a bit shimmery, so it’s not powdery looking on my cheeks, and the color is bright but not super intense or clown-ish looking. Perfect blush!
These shorts are the perfect length for me — long enough that I don’t feel self conscious or look like a teenager, but short enough that I don’t feel like I’m wearing “mom shorts”. They come in tons of colors and are perfect for dressing up or down!
The best part — they are on sale for $24.99 AND you get to take an extra HALF OFF. Yes, these shorts are $12.50 each. You are welcome.
This is the perfect pinky nude for me! I love experimenting with lipstick colors, but this is the one I wear pretty much every single day. It has a bit of gloss to it, but isn’t super sticky and lasts a long time!
I reviewed this foundation last week, and it is hands down the best foundation I’ve ever worn. It literally lasts through hours of sweating and still looks flawless!
These Sno Ball Brownies are on my July Favorites List too, duh. Pink coconut for life!
What are you loving right now?
