I hope you had a great Halloween last night!! We kept things simple and went to the Trunk or Treat at my church. Lucy had fun seeing all the kids in costumes, and Jon David loved visiting the decorated trunks and getting lots of candy!!
He was a zombie and Lucy was a Butterfly Princess — they made quite the pair.
Isn’t her hair getting SO long?? She won’t keep headbands in anymore (I am mourning that, trust me), so we have to go with ponytails or barrettes.
Her first birthday is in TWO WEEKS!! I’m having so much fun planning, but totally not going crazy overboard. I don’t think I have it in me — between her, work, the house, and Jon David, I am exhausted by the end of the day!!
Here’s what I did this week:
Samoa Caramel Apples — these were SO good!! I cut mine into slices right off the stick. Also, I have decided that from now on, all my fruit will be coated in caramel, chocolate, and toasted coconut.
Peanut Butter Fudge Sundae Cake – this is so easy to throw together and tasted AMAZING!! Who doesn’t love this flavor combo?
Looking for books to read? I’m sharing my reading list HERE.
Pumpkin Sopapilla Cheesecake!! Perfect dish to take to a Thanksgiving potluck (is it too soon to talk Thanksgiving? Please say no because I’m SOEXCITED).
Other things that caught my eye:
Kansas Chopped Salad with Peppercorn Ranch from Baked Bree
Hot and Cheesy French Onion Dip from Our Best Bites
Lash Flash from The Beauty Department
THESE Glittery Boots at less than half price!!
That’s it for this week — have a great weekend!!
