Valentine Week Wrap Up and a Video!!
Last weekend, my friend Shelly flew to Arkansas to visit Lucy.
I told you that we spent a day baking up Valentines treats together…but what I DIDN’T tell you, is that we made a video.
Which is basically my least favorite thing to do ever ever EVER.
I let my husband talk me into it though, and Shelly and I made a super serious cooking show video just for you!! I think our video is highly informative, and you will learn a lot about the science of cooking, as well a bit of the history of baking in America.
Yep.
Before I show you our video (this is me stalling), let’s review our week of treats!!
First, I made Red Velvet Cake Batter Hearts and Shelly made super cute Valentines Krispie Treats. They’re so heart-ey!!
Next, I made Chocolate Cherry Push Pops and Shelly made a gorgeous Rainbow Ganache Cake. Don’t you love how the top looks like melted crayons?
Last, we both went strawberry. I made Strawberry Chocolate Brownies and Shelly made Strawberry Gooey Butter Cookies.
And then, because we are idiots, we made a video.

This is too funny!! Can I say that in all my English naivity I didn’t think you’d sound like that, Kristan!! I just presumed you’d sound really southern! But, this is coming from someone who though Arkansas was pronounced Ar-kansas. That was definitely a low point (not entirely sure why I feel the need to advertise this incident online….)
