Creative Holiday Recipe Contest — The WINNERS!!

So last week was our Creative Recipe Contest…

We got some GREAT entries!

We were super excited to see what you guys created and totally blown away by the originality of the ideas!

So down to the important stuff.

The winners.

Well, first I want to thank everyone who entered and honestly hope everyone who entered maybe gained a few new readers along the way!

Shelly and I had a really difficult time deciding on these…honestly. You guys are all so creative, and there are a few on the list that are going on my holiday menu!!

So drumroll please…

First place goes to the completely adorable, wish-I-thought-of-it, “Let It Snow Cupcakes” by Not Your Momma’s Cookie!!

I mean how cute are these?? They are completely festive and totally do-able. Kristan and I both loved them!

Now, second place. Also totally cute and seriously yummy sounding Snowball Cupcakes by Lemon Sugar. The frosting on these sounds like my new most favorite thing in the world. And honestly they are topped with a cookie. Two desserts in one is my kryptonite.

Aren’t they gorgeous??

And finally in third place…Candy Cane Shortbread Cookies by Err on the Side of Delicious. These are so great…they are a candy cane, dipped in chocolate, covered in shortbread and then dipped in white chocolate. I mean, COME ON!!

So there you have it.
