A Chuck E. Cheese Giveaway!!
As the parent of ONE child, I can tell you that there have been many times over the years that he has been BOOOOOORED with no one to play with.
I stayed home with my son until he started kindergarten, and there were many afternoons during those first years that I just wanted a minute to think.
To relax.
To maybe have a few friends over and visit without being interrupted every four seconds. To let my kid play while I sat down and didn’t worry about what he was getting into.
Enter…Chuck E. Cheese’s!!
Jon David is now almost 8 years old, and Chuck E. Cheese’s has been invaluable to me over the years.
There were so many afternoons when the stress of having a small child all day, every day got to me, so I loaded him up in the car and headed for pizza and games.
There was always plenty for him to do, whether it was climb through tunnels and go down slides, or play fun games. And because they stamp our arms at the door, I never have to worry about him leaving with a stranger.
The staff has never failed to check my arm stamp and the arm stamp on my child very thoroughly, which gives me peace of mind. I have even been known to bring a book or magazine from time to time.
Because sometimes I want to play…and sometimes I need a few minutes to unwind.
Another non-issue is cleanliness — the restrooms are always clean!!
Staff comes by to clean tables frequently, and hand sanitizer for you and your child is always available if you need it.
Even as a Second Grader, there is still plenty for Jon David to do at Chuck E. Cheese’s.
Being pregnant this summer in 110 degree temperatures was especially hard, and thankfully Chuck E. Cheese’s made it easy for me to enjoy some fun with my kid without sweating my face off.
The fact that they have great pizza doesn’t hurt either.
No trip is ever complete without a stop at the ticket counter. Jon David loves cashing his tickets in for prizes!! Thankfully, Chuck E. Cheese’s is affordable…we can eat and spend a whole afternoon playing for very little. Games are always $.25 or less each, so I always know exactly what I’m getting for my money.

I love it for the reasons you stated (being able to sit and relax for a while and not worry about them running out the front door). For some reason, I also don’t feel like I’m spending much since I’m not putting quarters in the rides, but tokens that were already paid for. :)
I love it for the same reasons you do. I only have one child right now, and she gets bored with me. I am 27 weeks pregnant and the temperatures are still triple digits so outside play is tough. I would love to take her somewhere inside so she can run around and have some fun.
I would love to use this to take my nephew to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time. I love watching him discover new things and would love to see his excitement (and maybe even fear) at seeing the Chuck E. Cheese mechanical band and riding the rides and playing the games.

I love Chuck E. Cheese! It’s one of the few places that can entertain my 4, 6, and 15 year old kiddos. I love the fact that there’s something for everyone. Who doesn’t love Skee Ball? It’s also nice that DH & I can sit and enjoy a conversation over dinner while the kiddos are playing within eyesight. The fact that we know they can’t wander off without us is pretty awesome too!
Love the skee-ball, love pinball, love that all of us always have a great time and the pizza’s good too. No matter how stressed we are going in, we’re always relaxed and laughing together coming out. Love that place!!

we’ve actually not been to chuck e. cheese’s yet! there’s one about an hour’s drive from my house, though, and my five-year-old would love to check it out. she’s actually already asked to go a number of times. she loves pizza and games.

I loved it when I was a kid, mostly for the games! I have not taken my kids yet, but we are saving up to go during school break next month. The closest one for us is about an hour away!
Our kids have only been to Chuck E. Cheese ONE time, but it was a veritable paradise for them!!! They love it and if we lived closer than an hour and a half, it would definitely be a “go-to” place for us!
My son loves Chuck E Cheese. So much, that instead of candy in his Easter eggs this year, I filled them with tokens to CEC. And when we potty trained I also used those coins at one of the rewards.
We took our two girls this past February for their first and second birthday and they loved the place. Money is tight for us due to my disability and inability to work, so we would love to win to have a night out on the town…at Chuck E Cheese!! LOL

The kids especially the youngest ones love to go and play all the games and it doesn’t cost me as much as other places typically.
I love Chuck E Cheese because it has taught my niece and nephew to be friends. They team up to win more tickets and bigger prizes, or enjoy the motion rides together. When you see a five year old patiently holding the hand of his three year old cousin and explaining how something works, it melts your heart.
We love Chuck E Cheese for all the reasons you listed, plus my husband gets to play and be a kid too. So our daughter can get more tickets, of course.

Just the other day we drove by one, and I told my husband that we ought to take our daughter there, she’d probably love it!

My boys (ages 3 &5 ) LOVE Chuck E Cheese. I recieve coupons thru email and use them all the time.. We have a routine my hubby goes in with the kids and plays the games with the bag of tokens we have,while I order the pizza,drinks, and salad bar. :O) . The first time I ever went to Chuck E Cheese is when I brought my son there for the first time. We LOVED it. Even my husband had fun playing games with Lincoln. It really did bring out the kid in all of us <3

We love Chuck E Cheese because it is such a neat place to play. We especailly like birthday parties there! So easy and hassle free. Everyone has a blast, and clean up is a cinch. :)
My son loves playing the games and getting to run wild in Chuck E Cheese! I like that they have security measures in place so he does not leave without me!
We love Cheese Mouse aka Chuck E Cheese at our house. We’ve been taking my children since my oldest was 14 months old and now he’s 10. He named it Cheese Mouse around 2 and we’ve called it that ever since. Now we have a new baby in the house so that means we can continue to go for years. It’s fun, has yummy pizza and is indoors which is great when it’s 105 degrees out. Our tradition is to go every year on the last day of school as a way to say Welcome to summer. :)
Chuck E. Cheese is the best. We have gone there for birthday parties, playdates and just to get out of the house. We love to go during the week when the big kids are in school. The little kids have the place to themselves and the moms can just kick back and catch-up.

I would love to win this! We live about 45 minutes away from the closest Chuck E. Cheese but my kids love it there. My son was just recently diagnosed with Disruptive Behavior Disorder. One of his things that we do with him is if he gets a smiley face all week then he gets to go do something fun!! This was actually his pick for this week. It gives him something to look foward too and he works harder to behave at school knowing there is a reward.
It’s also just a fun family thing for us to do in a small town :)

With 6 kiddos-teens, tweens, & toddlers, I love that it is somewhere we can go and all enjoy ourselves. The kids enjoy playing the various games and of course eating the pizza! It is also nice to have something fun to do indoors if the weather isnt cooperating. Great family time!
I love it for many of the same reasons as you. I have an only child (who is 11) and I like knowing that she is safe there and its a fun, play environment. We typically take a friend so that I can at least attempt to relax. Always a good theory but never seems to work out that way!

We were just there this past weekend to celebrate my son’s 7th birthday. My two kids love to play the games and really enjoy having the “power” to pick out their own toys.
My tow boys ages 6 and 8 love chuck e cheese. we usually go at least once a month. I love to go on fridays right after school. we just leave school at 2:20 dismissal and hop on the bus and we are there in 10 minutes and spend a couple of hours there. I have even had their birthday parties there. Its just great food, great prizes and great fun for my boys.

I have 6 kids, from 3-14 and every single one of them can find SOMETHING they like to do there! The big kids eat pizza till they are stuffed and the little ones play games until the tokens run out!

my fav thing about chuck e. cheese is that i can let my older boys run off and play while i watch their little sister, so everybody can have a safe and fun experience at the same time!

We love CEC for nearly all the same reasons. My friends and I like to go, find a seat away from as much of the noise as possible, and talk while our kids play {our kids are older and our franchise has got a GREAT entering/exiting with an adult policy}.
I LOVE their pizza! My kids, of course, love the games. They especially love when all those tickets fall from the ceiling (or wherever they are coming from….still haven’t figured that out!)
When I was younger, my mom would always take me on a school shopping day, just the two of us. I always got to pick where we ate for lunch and this was my choice for many years! I love skee-ball (sp?) and the pizza! Now, I love taking my neice and nephew there.

I didn’t grow up near a chuck e cheese, so I didn’t understand why everyone loved it so much. Then we flew to California and grandma and grandpa took my two kids there. They were in LOVE. I liked how easy it was to find cool games for my 4 year old to play, they loved the whole experience! And now we live just a few minutes away from one!
My kids love chuck e cheese! Ours is a pretty small one and I love to take them during the week when there are just a fews folks in there. It is small enough that I can keep an eye on all 3 of them without hovering over them and they love everything the CEC is about…pizza, games, and prizes!
Okay, not gonna lie — I’m done with Chuck E., however, my brother-in-law is not! As a matter of fact, they just started the adventure with their 3 year old. We spent Sunday afternoon at the local Chuck E. Cheese this past Labor Day weekend and my nephew was nuts! Not only did he love the “on tap” Mountain Dew, but he loved smashing the little creatures at the “whack a mole” game. I have to say, it is a great place for the kiddos… all 5000 of them at once — or least that is how it seems. :) I’d love to give my bro a gift card as I know they would use it!

My two boys and I LOVE Chuckee Cheese! First and foremost, it is SAFE! I love the fact that when I leave they check my boys and my arm for the “magical” stamp. I feel confident that they are not going home with anyone other than me! We also love that there is something for everyone. My oldest is 10 and still enjoys the games and winning those lovely tickets. My youngest is three and loves climbing in the tunnels. Win, win for me :) We just had a Hurricane day off from school thanks to Tropical Storm Isaac and local flooding, and where did we go? Chuckee Cheese! I went on line and printed some valuable coupons, even had my older son play some games for free tickets and viola! We had a great day of fun inside where life was dry.

I catch up with my girlfriends at Chuck E. Cheese. The kids run off and play, and we sit and eat pizza. Sometimes we sneak in a few homemade cookies too :)

We went for the first time just a few weeks ago, before my little one started Kindergarten. I loved the arm stamp thing. He loved all of the games! I’m sure we’ll be going back!

Our kids (the boys 8 & 9 & a girl 17yr old) all love to play and eat at Chuck E Cheese and Dad and I love knowing its a safe place where we can sit and talk(Unless we’re playing skee ball) while the kids are running around and they aren’t able to leave without matching ID #’s with the parents.

I remember going to Chuck E. Cheese as a child every summer with my grandparents. Now my dad takes my children in IN, my sister’s kids in IA, my brother’s girls in MO, and my sister’s boys in CA. Its a great fun memory for all the grandchildren no matter where they live.

i have an autistic child who is pretty much a loner. One escape he has is playing video games. They make him extremely happy. To be able to go to Chuck E Cheese is like winning the lottery for him. He can have just as much fun as the next kid and it is something he can do on his own!

My grandkids love Chuck E Cheese’s from the food to the games. The whole area is layed out great. My grandkids can play games and not be out of our sight. The play area, eating area, and party area are within seeing distance no matter where your at in Chuckee Cheese. The ones we have visited have always had friendly staff. We Love Chuckee.

Why do I love Chuck E cheese? What’s not to love? We’ve attended a number of bday parties there and my kids love it!! We will even go just to let them play, and skip the pizza. As a mom, I LOVE the ID stamp and knowing my kids cannot escape while we are there. And I’ll agree with you, the bathrooms are clean! So nice. I could just say “ditto” on you post, but i didn’t have the fortune to stay home with my son. However, he is an only child, I have often taken the Sunday paper, a magazine or book with me, and a couple of weeks ago when it about 103 in the shade, we did enjoy CEC’s a/c. It was a weekday afternoon so it was not crowded at all. My son looooves that place, and if I take a coupon, we spend even less!

As a single mom I have always loved that I can let my son play at Chuck E Cheese while I have a little much needed break :) The door checking is superb! And of course I like to play the games too sometimes :)
My kids don’t get to go to Chuck E. Cheese very often. As a single mom with 6 boys in nursing school we eat at home all the time except for the very rare occasion. We did have a birthday party there one year and my boys all had a great time – and when did a boy ever not eat pizza?

We love Chuck E Cheese because my very shy daughter can play and have fun either on her own or with friends. If she needs some time that is all her own, she can just play a few games alone for a while. When she wants some time with a group, they can all work together and play whack a shark! :)
My kids (ages 3 and 1) LOVE going to Chuck E. Cheese! I have been taking my daughter since she was just over a year because it was a safe place to just let her run around and touch things without having to tell her no every 5.2 seconds! Now that she is older she likes showing her brother all the fun things to push and touch and that make noise. Even though the life size Chuck scares the CRAP out of her, she still asks to go a least once a week!! (and their italian sandwich is fabulous!!!)
I love the safety aspect, for sure, but it’s such a fun place! I have four small children, with a fifth on the way, and it’s nice to know that my kids can play and I don’t have to worry about them. They’ll run in different directions, and it’s almost impossible to keep track of all four, but the employees are always helpful, and there’s no way that a stranger can take them. Allows Mom to relax a little.

One of our babysitters took my children and spoiled them with so much fun and excitement, now, when we pass a Chuck E. Cheese, all I hear are little voices begging to go.
This place is low key and has everything that kids (and parents) need for a few hours of fun and stress free dining. It’s nice to be welcomed with two small kids who make loads of noise. Here, we’re just one of the many. It’s fabulous.

Oh I have memories of my sisters 5th birthday at Chuck E. Cheese….wow she is in her thirties now….who doesn’t love them some Chuck E. Cheese I am still very fond of their pizza!

Chuck E Cheese has been a life saver at times. My daughter and her friends love it! You can’t go wrong with the rides being a quarter! I even threw my husbands 40th surprise birthday party there! The adults had just as much fun as the kids. Beer/wine/pizza and skee ball! They had one heck of a contest going. We also just had to do my daughters 8th birthday party there as her swimming birthday party got rained out at the last minute.
They are always more then accomadating!
Well, PART of our family loves Chuck E. Cheese! :) My son thinks it is the best place ever. I don’t think it is too bad. Ha! No really, it is a great place for kids. So much to do and a little prize at the end?! Best day ever for kids, for sure.

I have loved Chuck E Cheese since I was a kid and my 4 year old loves it just as much! I also babysit so during the day I have 3 kiddos that get bored and drive me insane some days.

I love taking my 4 kids to Chuck E Cheese because I can let them all play without worrying that one will just walk out the front door or that someone will snatch one. Plus, since I homeschool, it’s just a nice, safe, cool (in the hot Texas weather) place where my kids can play games they don’t have at home and run around without dropping of heatstroke.
As a kid we moved around alot, in and out of the country. Chuck E Cheese was like Disneyland. Places we’d heard of but never realled believed kids ever achieved. As an adult I still think I’ve only ever been there less times than I have fingers on my hand. My kids would be head over heels if I won this and could take them a couple times it sounds like. I do remember they have pretty fantastic pizza, fun music for kids, clean, and good lighting :)
I love it because my kids have a big age difference. They are 7 & 13. At Chuck E. Cheese, they can both do the things they enjoy and aren’t bothered by or fighthing with each other.

I love Chuck E Cheese for just about everything you said. Having only 1 kid can be hard sometimes. But Chuck E Cheese was perfect. I could take him there, he could play and have fun. It was also great to meet friends there, us moms could hang out, while the kids played!
My youngest kids are 4 and 3 and have been seeing tons of Chuck E. Cheese commercial’s lately, they have never been there and are DYING to go!! My son’s 5th birthday is coming up in December and he is dreaming of a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese’s. I’d love nothing more than to make that happen :-)

I just wanted to say that after looking at Jon David’s pics on this post that I don’t think he could be any cuter. I especially like the top one – such a sweet face. Isn’t it great to have a kid that’s willing to stop and let you get a picture – mine’s 11 and (thank God) she still does, and with no eye rolls or heavy sighs. :)
We love Chuck E’s. It’s been my 3 year old daughter’s place to pick when she gets enough stickers on her potty chart. Great games and rides for the kids and their pizza is good too. Only downfall is my husband is the biggest kid and hardest to get out of there!!!

The food is good and the atmosphere is great and entertaining. My kids have always LOVED CEC and they are now 14, 12, 8 and 6 and still enjoy going. I enjoy the great salad bar and they love the pizza. I love that I can feel safe knowing they can’t leave the building without me and I can almost always spot them right away!
