Friday Fun!! Friday Fun!!

What up homies, it’s Friday!!

This week, I am officially 25 weeks pregnant. Not too much longer to go!!

Everything is going great.  I feel better than I have in a really long time (maybe even better than before I was pregnant), other than the occasional foot swelling or back pain.

Also, I am hungry.  All the time.

ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time.

I ordered Lucy’s crib and can’t wait to get it put together so I can pop in and look at it and imagine her sleeping in it.

What?  That’s not weird at all.

Also this week I have been texting links to my husband like THIS, THIS and THIS.

Then I get no reaction so I call him like an hour later and I’m all, “wasn’t that funny??” and he’s all, “sorry, I didn’t look yet”.

So annoying.  Seriously.

Of course, I did lots of other stuff this week too.

Wanna see?

I made Brownie Cheesecake Sundae Bites!!  Easy peasy.

Need a fun, family friendly cocktail?  I made these Nonalcoholic Fishbowl Cocktails just for you!!

Have you seen the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie yet?  So stinking adorable.  I made these cupcakes in honor of one of my son’s favorites!!  (okay, I actually made these LAST week, but didn’t do a Friday Fun because I was in New York)

Need some reading inspiration?  My August reading list is up HERE.  Lots of great books to read this month!!

I also made German Chocolate Whoopie Pies.  My  husband is basically in love with them.

And last, but not least, I’m sharing my baby gear picks HERE.

What did you do this week?

Tell me ALLLLLLLLLLLL about it.

I hope you have a fabulous weekend!!

Thanks for reading!! I put lots of love into this post, so if you enjoyed it, please leave a comment, share, or subscribe. (As you can probably tell, I'm in constant need of validation, so this keeps me from questioning my self worth and crying into a box of wine) If, by some chance, you didn't enjoy the post, take it up with my personal zombie ninja.
About Kristan
I’m a proud housewife with a son in the second grade and a sweet baby girl. Like most little boys, my son funny and cute but a little weird. Which only makes me love him more. And the baby? Well...I know she'll sleep eventually. If I could, I would paint my life pink, sprinkle it with glitter, and give everyone a cupcake.

Yay, happy Friday Kristan! I’m so excited for your little pink bundle of joy to arrive… seems like yesterday you made the announcement! And I’m hungry all the time–no, like ALL. THE. TIME. too, but I’m not pregnant. I hope something’s not wrong with me. Phantom pregnancy syndrome or something.

You had a gooooood week, my friend! I’m super excited to try your fishbowl cocktail, and those German chocolate whoopie pies have the Hubster’s name written all over them. Thanks for the great ideas, and you look fantastic!! :) I love the expression on Jon David’s face!!

I’m starving all the time too. Even in the middle of the night. When I woke up this morning, I was so hungry I thought I would just fall over. Good grief.

The peeing in the pool thing? EXCELLENT! I loved the bit about the yellow snow, too. It’s funny, men choose to actually work instead of watching or reading the hilarious stuff their wives send them. Happens here all the time, too. I don’t get it.

Sounds like you had a great week. We picked up a gorgeous new car and did some serious shopping which made up for a couple of baking failures. Mostly, I’m just hoping summer never ends!

You look great :) there are people like you that look so good pregnant.
Your week sounds waaaaay more fun (and pink and sparkley) than mine was! I managed to get the flu (from my sisters who got it from my dad!) so spent most of the week at home in bed. The first two days were pretty bad I could barely leave my blackened room (I was also wearing sunglasses at times too) as any light made my eyes and head hurt like crazy! I am only just feeling more lifelike now (I swear I could’ve passed as a Zombie more than once!).
I have figured out a way for you to make John David your slave and you could call it extra chores. Grab a jar of coins/lollies/small toys ect and whenever he doesn’t do something you ask him to take one item away at the end of the week he gets what’s left (which wouldn’t be all the lollies as you need them as your pregnant and all!).

I loved buying baby stuff, and not weird at all to peak in and imagine them sleeping and using it!
That family friendly cocktail looks so fun – my kid would love it!

You’re such a beautiful pregnant woman!

And I really love your friday fun-posts :) Actually all the posts.

Wishes you all the best, and praying for you(in an atheist kind of way) for a healthy, happy little Lucy :)

    Hugs from Norway
