Happy Friday, everyone!!
This week, I did lots of stuff.
I made food.
I ate food.
My baby belly got huger.
I made chili dogs for lunch. Like, a lot. It doesn’t make my heartburn very happy, but I just can’t quit them.
I’ve been training for Mother’s Day. And by training, I mean practicing taking naps and giving orders. My son asked me what I wanted for Mother’s Day and I gave him two suggestions: #1 He could be a human footstool for the entire day OR #2 He could give me a signed contract stating that he will never move out, get married, or grow a beard.
He said he thinks he’ll just get me some jewelery or a prayer book. Fine.
Also, today is my wedding anniversary!! We plan on celebrating by eating pizza and renting The Vow on Pay Per View. Because nothing says romance like cheesy carbs, a snuggly blanket, and Channing Tatum professing his undying love. It’s true.
Of course, I did other stuff this week too. Wanna see?
First off, I did a fun interview for Taste and Tell HERE. I don’t ever do interviews, so it made me feel sort of famous (around these parts, we call it Too Big For Your Britches), but sadly, she did not ask me to fax her an autograph.
Yes, I still use a fax machine. Scanners are from the devil, trust me on this.
I made Mini Rolo Flurries!! Sadly, a certain fast food chain (I’m looking at you, McDonald’s) decided to stop making them. So I made my own. Easy.

I made Strawberry Cheesecake Cupcakes. LOVED.

First, HAPPY anniversary!!! :)
Second, I love that whole “He could give me a signed contract stating that he will never move out, get married, or grow a beard.” I’m totally typing that up and having it set out with a pen when kiddo gets home from school. Side note: he’s starting to get peach fuzz on his upper lip and it’s killing me!

I just copied and pasted and sent to all my work buddies~ they all need a little giggle on a Friday. I totally get the signed contract, wishing I would have thought of that… this past year I have a daughter who got married and one of my twins, Cam moved to NYC. :/ Mother’s Day is going to be a sad day without his hugs. On a brighter note~~ he’s healthy and happy!!!

You look competely adorable. Love the idea of showing your “measurements” weekly. What a pretty backyard. I’m green with envy. My Pinterest name is either “Marie M. Conroy” or maybe “Marie M.” ?? Pinterest is EVIL. It sucks you and instead of vacuuming or washing my undies I’m wearing out my eyes with Pinterest. You’re right about tires and luggage. Tires are pricey plus since I live in California they actually CHARGE you to take away your old tires. I’m not kidding. You can’t just thow them away, you have to PAY someone to properly dispose of them. The nerve. Luggage suggession. Have you seen the Vera Bradley line? I’m pretty sure they do some large duffel bags. I love the styles from years back. French Provencial fabrics. Nowadays they have bright jazzy prints so you can’t miss them in the airport. They’re made out of fabic and I doubt if they come with wheels. But, it’s a thought. There’s another brand Pierre Duex. They’ve sadly gone out of business but you can try eBay.

I was sad when Hunger Games was over. But, I discovered 50 shades of Grey and totally lost control on life…I could not quit reading those books!! They certainly aren’t winning any literary awards, but the love story is fab!!
