This week, I did lots of stuff.
I made food.
I ate food.
My friend Shelly flew to Arkansas and we drove to Nashville together for the Blissdom conference. Lots of cookies and gossip were involved in our road trip.
We met our Sugar Sister, Heather from Sprinkle Bakes. She’s really cute and has lovely long long hair and she brought us presents:
Last night we were sort of hungry and decided that we needed a snack. We proceeded to order a giant club sandwich, a plate of french fries, margarita cheesecake and bread pudding from room service. Because apparently we are giants who think that snacks are huge meals of food with two desserts.
Also, we watched Young Adult with Charlize Theron. Trust me when I say don’t bother. WHATWASTHATENDING?!?!?!?!?!
Of course, I did other stuff too. Wanna see?
I made Malted Rocky Road Brownie Cupcakes and talked about Neon Orange Red days. Do you ever have those days too?
The Bachelor this week was totally disgusting. I’d go on strike from it, but then I’d go into Judgement Withdrawals. So…still watching. I’ve got a recap of this week’s episode HERE.
I made Twinkie Pie and broke the Nielsen Law. But on a good note, the pie is awesome and I’m $5 richer.
Make-up brushes are important. I’m talking about which ones you need and how to take care of them HERE.
I loooooove Amaretto Sours, but I don’t always have Sweet and Sour mix on hand. So I’m showing you how to make them without it HERE.
Can you believe that I did all that AND invited Mike Rowe to my house for an episode of Dirty Jobs? Seriously, cleaning out frosting bags is so disgusting.
What did you do this week? I’d love to hear ALL about it!!
Have a happy weekend and thanks for reading!!

I heard Young Adult was bad, too. Such a shame because the ads made it look hilarious!
Totally jealous of the Blissdom trip! Hope you girls have a BLAST!!! Can’t wait to hear all about it. One of these years… Travel home safe!!!

seriously, the youtube video is a must see!
WHAT THE WHAT? Tia, you just changed my life. WOW.
Actually, Mike Rowe can visit me anytime. I’ve got way more things than frosting bags that need cleaning. I spent my week trying to escape my house. Next door neighbors have had a construction crew fixing the back of their house — for TWO weeks. It’s interminable. First week, it’s banging, banging, banging. Today they were using sanders that had the same exact pitch you hear when you’re sitting in the dentist’s chair — wishing you were somewhere else. WORST SOUND EVER! And it went on ALL day! The good news is I don’t have to pay for it — the bad news is they do.
i AM NEW TO YOUR BLOG. i MUST SAY YOU HAVE A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR. i TOTALLY LOVE READING OF YOUR ESCAPADES AND YOUR TAKE ON THINGS. THE RECIPES LOOK WONDERFUL AND I CAN’T WAIT TO TRY THEN OUT. YOUR BLOG IS MY FAV, SO PLEASE KEEP WRITING
missed your site!!! LOL about the bachelor. are you into american idol??? that’s still one of my favorites.
Ummm, YUM?! I want that Amaretto Sour!!
If Mike Rowe *does* come over to your house to clean frosting bags, can I come watch? ;)
