So I know what you’ve been thinking.
“Kristan…I really need a super romantic Valentines Day cupcake idea that isn’t crazy complicated or costs a fortune”.
I know. I knooooooooow. And you know what? It’s normal to stress about such a thing.
Okay, not really. Most people go buy a box of chocolate and call it a day, BUT I just so happen to have the most unique readers in the entire land so…we are not satisfied by such simplicity.
Luckily for us, a nice girl named Cat from Baby Jewels emailed me a couple of weeks ago.

I know what you’re thinking– “what do fondant stamps have to do with romance?”
Weeeelllllll….take a look:
Romantic, right? And super cute.
All you have to do is roll out a bit of fondant, cut a circle, and press the food safe acrylic stamp down firmly on the fondant.
And this ordinary looking stamp…
…makes a really unique cupcake topper.
When my husband came home from work today, I showed him our Love Initial cupcakes and he thought it was so sweet and romantic, he kissed me like four times.
(one of those kisses was a little too slobbery for daytime hours, if you know what I’m saying)
Baby Jewels sells all kinds of custom fondant stamps that are perfect for weddings, baby showers, engagement celebrations or company parties. She can create anything!! I really enjoy your blog-enough that I read it aloud to my husband who pretends not to be listening but then secretly smiles behind one of the children clinging to his head when he gets home. Anyway, if I were to win, I would choose “K&J” for my college roommate who is getting married this summer and her fiance. She put her “real life” on hold for the last 8 years to serve as a pilot in the Marines (immediately following 9-11) and is excited to now be settling down and starting a family. She is one of the most amazing people I know and I would be thrilled to make her and her fiance some yummy celebratory cupcakes using this beautiful stamp!

OMG this must be fate!!! My fiance and I were just discussing our cupcakes for our Oct wedding when I stumbled upon this. I told him I wanted to do a fondant heart stamped with our initials (I saw it on the Martha Stewart show one time). This stamp would be absolutely perfect!!!
