What I Did Over The Weekend

It’s Monday….which means that you are probably back at work.

And you have probably answered the question “What did you do over the weekend?” at least twice.

I am a housewife.

No one asks me what I did over the weekend.

But today, you are here. So, I am going to take advantage of this opportunity and tell you. The good thing about blogging is that I don’t have to see you roll your eyes….or pretend to listen while you read a text on your phone….or say “mmmmm hmmmmm…..” which we all know really means “are you done already, I was just asking to be polite, I wasn’t anticipating having an entire conversation right now you big loser”. In my little blogger lala land, you hang on to my every word. If you are skimming through this, that’s fine. I will never know it.

So…..you wanna know what I did this weekend. Because you’re nice like that. Okay….I’ll tell you, but only because you really twisted my arm.

I discovered a bag of Haribo Gummy Bears in the back of the fridge that I had forgotten about. I like gummy bears. I like them cold. Don’t judge.

I found out that it costs a million dollars to have Kanye West perform at a Sweet Sixteen party. Yes, I watched My Super Sweet Sixteen. I have this habit of watching shows about things/people I can’t stand, just to give me an excuse to talk about how I can’t stand them. It’s sick, I know. Once again, don’t judge.

I learned that watching a scary alien movie right before bed is a bad idea. A VERY. BAD. IDEA.

And….

I made cakes.

Shopping bag cakes…..

And robot cakes…

And robot cupcakes….

The moral of this story is: I may be a cold gummy bear eating, spoiled teenager bashing, scaredy cat….but at least I find the time to make a few cakes in between.

And that excuses everything.

Happy Monday!!!!

****If you have not yet entered to win the super cute “What’s New Cupcake” book, scroll on down to the next post!!! I’d love to send it to ya!!****

Thanks for reading!! I put lots of love into this post, so if you enjoyed it, please leave a comment, share, or subscribe. (As you can probably tell, I'm in constant need of validation, so this keeps me from questioning my self worth and crying into a box of wine) If, by some chance, you didn't enjoy the post, take it up with my personal zombie ninja.
About Kristan
I’m a proud housewife with a son in the second grade and a sweet baby girl. Like most little boys, my son funny and cute but a little weird. Which only makes me love him more. And the baby? Well...I know she'll sleep eventually. If I could, I would paint my life pink, sprinkle it with glitter, and give everyone a cupcake.

Did you watch The Fourth Kind? I was up all night after I watched it and then had to google the crap out of it the next day to make me feel better. I LOVE the cake!

Anytime K!!! I'm glad they were enjoyed!! Nicole, yes I watched the Fourth Kind…there are not adequate words for how disturbed I am. Perhaps I will try and fit it into my post tomorrow. That movie should come with a disclaimer.

Omg I love those cupcakes! And I care what you did over the weekend. I never rolled my eyes once. Promise.

Was Fourth Kind good at least? I have an unnatural addiction to scary movies. I wanted to see Paranormal Activity and seriously downloaded both versions then promptly deleted them because I knew I'd think about it every night when I was trying to get to sleep in the dark for the rest of my life.
