Popcorn Cupcake Bites
Because it’s Monday…..and you don’t want to be working…I thought it would be a good day to spread a little cuteness and cheer.
Bakerella is the Queen of Cuteness.
She has recently posted some really cute treat ideas for an Oscar-themed party. One idea was brownies decorated to look like tubs of popcorn, which were just too stinkin’ cute. I began to wonder if it would be possible to create tiny tubs of popcorn using Bakerella’s cupcake bite method.
It was possible. They turned out great!! Now I just need a party to go with them…..
I made these using this cupcake bite method, which uses a candy cup mold for the base.
I made the bases with red candy wafers and dipped the tops in white. After they set up, I piped lines on with the melted white wafers. I used the grooves in the base as a guide, which really helped to make straight lines. I then piped little globs all over the tops to look like popcorn.
Not only were these cute and easy, they taste yummy too!! Oscar party anyone?
Happy Monday!!

Thanks for visiting my blog! I realize you could be doing more important things with your time. Like watching the news or washing socks. I hope you stay awhile. Much more fun than socks, I promise.
