Easter Bunny Cookies
This past weekend was the first weekend of Spring.
Which meant that the weather was cold, wet, and snowy.
Cold, wet, snowy weather put me in the mood to decorate Easter Bunny cookies.
Easter Bunny cookies reminded me of something else.
Easter Bunnies like carrots.
I was then reminded of the time that I decided that my 2 year old son needed a pet bunny.
Bad idea.
Pet bunnies do not like to be held. They run, they hide, and they scratch.
They leave a trail of tiny poop pellets along the way.
Yes…this is the second blog post in which I have mentioned the word “poop”.
It’s a part of life…sorry.
My son is now 5….and I am no longer the mommy of a cute little floppy eared bunny. But that is another story. A story which I lack the emotional strength to get into right now.
Let me put it this way: Nicholas Sparks is currently writing a new novel based on my bunny story.
Okay, maybe he isn’t. Maybe I exaggerated. But he should. Really.
If I haven’t depressed you too much…..if you didn’t immediately quit reading after the word “poop”….and if you want to make your own bunny cookies……I recommend you click over to Sweetopia. She has excellent tutorials on everything you need to know. She also gives her favorite sugar cookie and royal icing recipes.
I hope Sweetopia inspires you to make some cookies of your own!!
Happy Monday!!

Thanks for visiting my blog! I realize you could be doing more important things with your time. Like watching the news or washing socks. I hope you stay awhile. Much more fun than socks, I promise.

These are adorable!
